When you arrive for your in-person lesson, please wait in the front room. Chelsea will come to greet you as soon as the previous session has finished.
Private Vocal & Performance Coaching with Chelsea is scheduled and managed through Wolf Studios.
Lesson Structure & Preparation
Every session is individualized around your voice, goals, repertoire, and current training needs. Lessons may include vocal assessment, customized technical exercises, song application, stylistic development, performance coaching, audition preparation, and repertoire work.
For song application, Chelsea recommends working with a high-quality instrumental track or live accompaniment whenever possible. Singing along with the original artist can be useful while initially learning a song, but moving away from the original recording allows you greater freedom to develop your own phrasing, interpretation, style, and sound.
If you are preparing challenging material for an upcoming audition, performance, or recording session, you are also welcome to bring a professional accompanist to your lesson.
Students are encouraged to record their sessions for personal practice so they can revisit exercises, technical adjustments, and coaching between lessons.
Scheduling, Payment & Cancellation
Please be aware there is a strict 48hr cancellation policy. All private coaching is scheduled and managed through Wolf Studios. Current policies and additional details regarding payment, cancellations, rescheduling, lesson packages, and scheduling are provided through Wolf Studios at the time of booking.
Please review those policies carefully before confirming your session.

Expectations
- Please arrive on time and prepared to work so we can make the most of your scheduled session.
- Bring any sheet music, instrumental tracks, audition materials, repertoire, or other resources needed for your lesson.
- Singers are strongly encouraged to record their sessions for personal practice and reference between lessons.
- If you are experiencing significant illness or acute vocal symptoms, please contact Wolf Studios (info@wolfstudiosnyc.com) as soon as possible regarding your upcoming session.
- Come prepared with questions, goals, repertoire, or specific areas you'd like to address. Your lesson is individualized, and knowing what you're currently working toward helps us use your time effectively.
- Consistent, intentional practice between sessions is encouraged. The goal is not simply to perform well during a lesson, but to develop the awareness and coordination to recreate those results independently.
