Your voice is individual.
You don’t have to learn alone.

There is so much to discover when singers learn together. You hear different voices, notice patterns, and begin to recognize concepts in your own singing that may have been difficult to understand on your own.

These classes bring my approach to vocal development into a supportive group setting: understand what you’re training, explore it through singing, and build confidence through practice.

01 / TECHNIQUE

Understand and train your voice

Explore general vocal concepts—chest and head voice, mix, coordination, and vocal balance—with practical connections to your singing.

02 / STYLE

Find your own expression

Explore the choices that shape your sound, phrasing, and interpretation. Learn from other singers while developing the style and expression that feel like you.

03 / PERFORMANCE

Bring your singing to life

Connect your technique and style to the story you want to tell. Practice sharing your voice in a supportive setting and build confidence through doing.

“What we have to learn to do, we learn by DOING.”

A guiding idea behind Lift Your Voice

Training with purpose

More understanding.
More choices in your singing.

I want you to understand why your voice behaves the way it does, so your practice becomes more intentional. We’ll explore vocal concepts together and connect what you’re learning to the way you sing.

The goal is to build strength, coordination, and confidence while making room for your own sound, style, and expression.

Personal guidance within the group. There will be opportunities for one-on-one guidance throughout the classes, so you can connect what we’re exploring to your own voice and goals. You’ll also learn by listening to other singers and sharing questions and discoveries.

You don’t have to wait until your voice feels perfect to start learning together.

What we’ll work on

Build skills you can bring
into every song.

  • Range and ease: build coordination as you explore higher and lower notes, with attention to balanced effort and consistent vocal function.
  • Smoother transitions: understand your vocal bridges and practice moving between chest and head voice with greater connection.
  • A more balanced mix: explore how strength and coordination work together, with warm-ups and progressive exercises you can bring into your practice.
  • Agility and musical phrasing: train scales, riffs, and runs while shaping phrases with intention.
  • Style and expression: explore genres, tone colors, and vocal effects as choices that serve your song and your own sound.
  • Practice with purpose: learn what to listen for and how to use your exercises productively, so your practice supports your growth as a singer and performer.

Focused training and personal guidance, in a supportive group setting. At $160 per month for four classes, you can invest in regular vocal development for less than the cost of one private lesson.
